Sandra Chang was born in Kingston, NY and began her career in art by self-publishing comics through her company with Mark Beachum called Aja Blu Comics. They published "Achilles Storm/Razmataz". She enjoys drawing and painting in oils, acrylics, watercolors and creating digital art with Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter.

When she's not working on her artistic endeavors, she studies martial arts at Beijing Tai-chi and Kung Fu under Sifu Jonathan Wang. She practices Kung fu, Sanda (sport fighting), and Shuai Chiao. She has a second degree black belt in Budoshin Ju Jitsu from Sensei Leo Byrd and a black sash in Northern Eagle Claw Kung Fu from Sifu Kenneth Edwards.

Needless to say she loves martial arts movies, action and sci-fi movies. Her favorite TV shows are the new Battlestar Galactica and 24. She currently resides in California with her husband, Dustin, a brillant 3D animator, and their sheltie, Hendrix and an australian shepherd, Freckles. She currently illustrates for Inside Kung Fu Magazine.
